Looking for new heaving lines?<\/h3>\t\t\t

Heaving lines can be produced in various lengths, diameters and material.
\nAs a heaving line rope we normally supply 8mm in diameter. Both in 3-strand construction or double-braided construction to match the mooring lines.<\/p>\n

Depending on the customers wishes we use polyester which is nice, soft and flexible or polypropylene which is lighter, and even floats.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div>

Leather bags or monkeyfist<\/h3>\t\t\t

Our first choice is always a leather throwing bag. They are safe to use, don’t bounce on the dock and are easy to produce and replace. Made of soft leather and a piece of webbing or stainless steel insert for easy attachment of the heaving line without the risk of scratching with metal parts. Our throwing bags are filled with small lead balls.<\/p>\n

Alternatively is a monkey fist, we create this from 8mm black double braided polyester and a stainless steel ball in the center. This looks great, flies very far and is easy to throw. But since they can bounce on impact some ports don’t allow monkey fist as heaving lines. The monkey fists we supply have a 40mm SS core and a 8mm overbraid with 30 meters of throwing line.<\/p>\n

Line thrower with pocket<\/h3>\t\t\t

Made of black leather filled and with 400 grams of sand. This luxurious handcrafted leather sandbag is the best looking heaving line thrower.<\/p>\n

On the front you’ll find a pocket to place “tips” or notes. Made from very soft leather and on top is a piece of webbing to attach the throwing line<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div>

Made of black leather filled with 400 grams of lead. The leather heaving bag is stitched all around and a heavy duty grommet is inserted where the throwing line will attach.
